Ciprian Tatarusanu is the newest arrival for Ligue 1 side Lyon. The 33-year-old Romanian goalkeeper has penned a three-year contract, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2022. Below, the official statement from the French club.
"Olympique Lyonnais is pleased to announce the arrival of Romanian national goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu, who has signed a three-year contract with the club; that is, until June 30, 2022".
The former Fiorentina owned player has been with Nantes for the past two years, but after his contract expired this summer, Lyon picked him up for free. This past season, he made 27 appearances in the French top tier, conceding 30 goals and keeping eight clean sheets.
