Following his recent knee injury in the match against Rennes, Memphis Depay had surgery in Italy to treat his anterior cruciate tear. The Lyon striker choose to have the procedure done at the Villa Stuart clinic with doctor Pierpaolo Mariani after receiving the recommendation from Kevin Strootman.
Depay is expected to need five months to rehab the injury, the goal is to have him available for the upcoming Euro next summer after making a substantial impact in the qualifying round with six goals and seven assists.
