On Friday, the Locatelli to Juventus deal took another step forward, a meeting was held to try to move the clubs closer to an agreement. Present to discuss the deal with the bianconeri was Giovanni Carnevali, CEO of Sassuolo.
Update 17:31 CET -
The meeting ended minutes ago for Manuel Locatelli. There are indications that the bianconeri are moving closer in small steps towards signing the midfielder.
Juventus raised their offer to €35 million bonuses included for a three-year loan and obligation to buy conditioned on qualification to the Champions League. This offer is closer to Sassuolo's valuation for Locatelli, but there is still agreement missing on the formula.
The neroverdi are asking for secondary conditions to trigger the purchase obligation in order to secure their position further. In the coming days new meetings are scheduled between the parties.
