Liverpool are set for another big summer in the transfer market, as Jürgen Klopp begins to build his squad at Anfield.
A new left back is wanted, with Lorient and Portugal's Raphaël Guerreiro and Leicester City's Ben Chilwell two players being monitored by Liverpool.
Centre midfield is also an area of concern. Jürgen Klopp is a big fan of Polish midfielder, Piotr Zieliński who is on loan at Empoli from Udinese. Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder, Granit Xhaka is another player of interest.
Mario Götze is a big target for Liverpool. The German, who was so good under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund has struggled for minutes all season at Bayern Munich, and may be available come the end of the season.
Mario Balotelli and Christian Benteke will both be made available for transfer this summer. Martin Skrtel is also likely to be sold, with centre back, Joël Matip having agreed to sign on a free transfer from Schalke 04.
Simon Mignolet will not be guaranteed the number one spot, with Liverpool watching a number of goalkeepers, including Barcelona number two, Marc-André ter Stegen.
Joe Gomez and Danny Ings returning from long-term injuries, and Marko Grujic and Lazar Markovic coming back from their loan spells will bolster Klopp's squad.
