Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp commented his team's defeat against Napoli in the second matchday of the Champions League's group stage: "Napoli deserved to win, it's a fair result. With a bit of luck we could have got a draw, but Napoli played better. What did not work for us? We had to defend better, we didn't play the game like we had prepared it in training. We lacked timing, it was a difficult game for us", the German coach said to Sky Sport.
Anyway Liverpool didn't play for the draw, Klopp said: "No, that wasn't the plan. In the second half we didn't make the right decision at the right time. Also it was not easy playing in this stadium with Napoli always going forward. Insigne? Some players always score against my teams, there's not much I can do about it", concluded Liverpool's boss.
