Spending six years at Liverpool has certainly left a mark on Rafa Benitez. The Spanish manager's family still lives in the city, specifically in the Wirral borough and today he decided to take part in the "Run for the 96" to remember the victims of Hillsborough tragedy, which took the lives of 96 fans back in 1989.
Benitez went with hia family to Stanley Park to attend the match played in honor of the victims of the tragedy. Both Liverpool and Everton fans attended to live this moment together. For Benitez this wasn't the first time he attended the event, his ties to Liverpool run deep.
