Liverpool keeper Adrian, who was Alisson's substitute for the UEFA Super Cup match against Chelsea and became the Reds' hero after saving the winning penalty shot, suffered an injury after the match and is in high doubt for the team's next Premier League match against Southampton. And this injury was caused by...a fan!
Soon after saving Abraham's penalty kick and winning the match for Liverpool, Adrian exploded with joy and ran to celebrate with his teammates and manager Klopp. A fan then entered the pitch and, after evading security, ran toward the Liverpool players. The fan then tackled the group and hit the keeper. Klopp confirmed that Adrian is suffering from a swollen ankle and is at risk for the next match. Below is the video of the tackle.
