Marcello Lippi couldn't stand doing nothing, even after having won everything. From Italy to China, he's always been at the first position. Yet, it seems like after his contract with the Chinese national team ends (31st of January), he'll go back home and enjoy with his family even if that could mean get bored after this great career: "The Chinese federation had offered me a 4 and a half years contract to end my career in Qatar - has he revealed to Il Corriere dello Sport- but I didn't feel like accepting it, also because of a matter of perspectives. I need to stay home a bit, to load the batteries, also to get a bit bored, in order to get back with a lot more will and stimuli. I'm done coaching clubs though, I could consider an offer for an European national team or a team from the Emirates".
"Who do I feel closer to between Allegri, Ancelotti and Spalletti? Do you believe me if I say the three of them? Here you go, maybe there are more analogies with Max". It may be linked to the fact he's the current Juventus coach, a team which Lippi is still bound to. The Bianconeri seem like on their way for new successes this season, especially after Ronaldo's arrival: "He got there at the right time. If he arrived here three, four years before, Barcelona and Bayern were a lot better and he could have done less at Juventus. Ancelotti? He didn't throw away Sarri's work, he's an expert and really smart, he's kept the best and added his touch. What does Inter have than they didn't last season? Self esteem. Inter are now aware of their qualities".
