After pulling off a double jump from Serie C to Serie A in two seasons, Lecce are on the market to bolster their team for the upcoming campaign in the Italian top flight.
The Giallorossi are particurlarly keen on Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz, currently at Besiktas. Sporting director Mauro Meluso is working to close a deal for the 33-year-old centre forward - who scored 16 goals in 22 games last season - but, as Turkish media report, the negotiations have failed to yield a compromise yet, despite Lecce's efforts to try and seal the deal.
