“We have a great team, and then Napoli’s transfer market is open 12 months each year as were are always observing different targets. There are 2-3 players that we will probably acquire in June, or maybe earlier…who knows,” claimed Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The transfer which is soon to be official is that of Leandrinho: an agreement was reached with Ponte Preta at a price around 500 thousand euro without any bonuses; the player will receive a five year contract. Napoli is also attempting to acquire Amato Ciciretti. Napoli has already encountered the player and Benevento’s president, and they are considering to make a deal with the cooperation of Genoa or Sampdoria so that he can receive more playing time. Orsolini is also liked by Napoli, but Juventus has the advantage.
Napoli is also looking to acquire a goalkeeper: early inquiries, for June, have been made for Cragno, Perin, and Wolfsburg’s Koen Casteels. However, Napoli is also looking to sign Serge Gnabry. The player can operate on either flank and would be useful to Maurizio Sarri considering that the club is looking for a player similar to Callejon. He could also be useful given the difficulties that have arisen with Insigne’s contract renewal.
