Lazio, Tare:”We tried to sign Giroud but his priority was staying at Chelsea”

During the last days of the January transfer window, Lazio tried to give Simone Inzaghi an addition to his front line. During a recent interview with Sky Sport, the biancocelesti's sporting director Igli Tare confirmed his attempts to sign Oliver Giroud:"I didn't hide it then and I won't now, in the last days of the window we did all we could to bring Giroud to Rome.
