From football to golf: Lazio's third goalkeeper Proto has terminate his contract with Lazio six months before it would have expired, and he's ready to give his farewell to football.
In Belgium he's recovering from an elbow injury and on Instagram he's said: "It's time for me and my first white hair to put the gloves away. 7069 days from my first match in first division. I thank my wife for having endured my superstitious rites, my sons for having made me the best player in the world (at least at their eyes). I give my farewell to this world that has certainly built what I am today, but at the same time it was too hard for my sensitive soul. Without regrets, my golf-clubs have replaced the gloves".
