After an excellent first season in Serie A, Maresh Kumbulla is a hot name on the transfer market, with a team taking concrete steps to close the deal to acquire him. Today Lazio's sporting director Igli Tare' met with Verona's President Maurizio Setti as well as Tony D'Amico at Villa San Sebastino in Lotito's offices for about four hours.
The biancocelesti have already reached an agreement with Kumbulla on a five year deal with an annual salary of €1.5 million net, today they offered Verona €26 to €27 million including bonuses and potential players. The two clubs have yet to reach a final agreement, there will have to be further meetings for Lazio to close the deal on the defender born in 2000.
