After the 1-1 draw between Lazio and Chievo - which was the third consecutive draw for the biancocelesti - Simone Inzaghi, in agreement with the club, decided to bring the whole team to Formello this past Tuesday afternoon to find their identity in order to reach their goal that was set at the beginning of the season, analyzing what has not worked so far. The team will remain at Formello until their next Serie A TIM match against Sampdoria on the weekend. Club President Claudio Lotito was interviewed in a press conference this morning to take stock of the period that the team is going through, explaining the reasons for their choice to go on a training retreat.
"I have not spoken for four years, I decided to do it today to clarify the relationships within our club: Inzaghi will remain as the coach for the coming years, Tare will also stay here and the same goes for the club manager. Let us clarify these situations to make it clear that we are not transitory, but definitive. We have embarked on a path of infrastructural growth and goals, putting in place many efforts to grow the club and the results. It may happen that some games do not go in the right direction, but this does not allow catastrophes or deteriorated relationships to appear."
