Soap opera about Keita Baldé with Lazio goes on. The player hasn't showed up to training yesterday and hasn't gone to the team meal to celebrate the win against Juventus in Supercoppa. His agent Roberto Calenda has talked to La Gazzetta della Sport: "Keita is exasperated after some of the club's behaviors and he can't take it anymore. Keita got to Lazio when he was a boy and last year, even if he didn't play much he scored 16 goals. Today, at 22, he deserves to get the first results for his work. Despite the results, Lazio has never showed they believe in him. After Pioli's season, he asked to leave but the club promised him he would get a place in Inzaghi's team and a top player contract. But it wasn't true: no contract was proposed to him during 2015-16 or 16-17 seasons while he's only played continually with Inzaghi in the end of the season. It's hard to talk with this club, I've asked a long time ago for a meeting but we haven't received neither an answer or a convocation.
We only got an informal renewal offer in June: while president Lotito values Keita as a top player when he talks about selling him, the offered contract didn't match. After that, Keita told the president and Inzaghi he would give his best with Lazio until his contract was over. He the didn't got in the team for the first game of the season against Juve: it's not that he wasn't on the field but on the bench for tactical reasons but he wasn't even part of the group. The player didn't feel good after that and now the club pays for it".
Where will Keita play next season then? "Would Lazio prefer to sell Keita? They do. Despite the declarations made from their entourage, the club hasn't called the player in the team or contacted him to tell about the offers that - you can read in the newspapers - he would have refused. We haven't heard for any offer from Lazio, the only interest we're aware from is Milan's one. Lotito told us he had an agreement with them. There would also be Juventus as they officially told they made an offer but Lazio hasn't told us anything about it. I wonder what's the truth in everything the newspapers tell though".
