After yesterday’s voices, which claimed that Keita Balde Diao wasn’t going to be leaving with his teammates for the pre-season retreat, the winger has now made a public statement to the fans. An open letter on his twitter profile was published where he describes his motivation and his “problems” with the club. Inter remains very interested in the player:
“Friends from Lazio,
In agreement with the club, I have decided to delay my arrival to the retreat. I love and respect this shirt but I can no longer accept the way they are treating me. They make promises that they never maintain. Expiries pushed back, changes of programs.
I spoke multiple times with the president and the director: my point of view, unfortunately, doesn’t interest anyone. I think there are two ways to go about things. One is based on sharing projects, ideas, work, so that we can all grow with a better future ahead. The other way, sees one part of the club walking by itself, without listening to anyone or anything. Then when you mix in people who say one thing and do another…. Then it’s time to stop. You don’t build like this, you destroy.
A hug, Keita”.
