Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi spoke after the match with Atalanta, the hosts, who came back to win 3-2 over the biancocelesti in Bergamo. With his comments to Sky Sport, Inzaghi revealed his state of mind after the defeat: "The night before the match I was calm, I thought we had prepared well. The first half hour was wonderful, but we missed scoring the third goal. I am disappointed, on the first and third goals we conceded we could have done more."
"This defeat makes our title challenge more complicated. We have not lost before 21 matches but we knew that coming back against Atalanta was the worst possible team to come back against, and we controlled the field well in the first half but that's not enough against some teams. I don't like to lose, neither do the players. We need to be strong and regroup after this."
