Lazio is enjoying a positive moment, which seems them within 6 points of the top spot in Serie A with a game in hand. They're working to stay grounded, but a victory over Juventus in the Supercoppa could really make them fly. Manager Simone Inzaghi spoke to the press prior to the match.

"Tomorrow the match will be different with respect to the league. In 90-120 minutes, you're playing for the first trophy of the season. You cannot make errors because two teams that can hurt you at any time are playing each other."

"We are in a great moment, coming from 8 straight victories in the league and the team has certainties. The fourth final in 2.5 years, a road started a long time ago. It's a different match because here you're playing for a trophy."

"I think that independently from the formation, Juventus has great potential and quality. We prepared ourselves for any possibility. I ask them to play a concentrated match. In the league we had important behaviors, where we took a goal in defense and numerical superiority.

"Everyone knows Ronaldo, he's a champion that can decide a match at any moment. At the Olimpico we played a great match. We were able to suffer as a team when we needed to and then we dribbled well, keeping the ball and making Juventus run. What do I want to see from the team? A special final. The players are preparing in the best of ways, I saw great concentration, compactness and a united spirit that I saw yesterday in training."

"Is this the most important match of my career? All finals are important. I am lucky to have an extraordinary group that followed me every day in the past 3.5 years. This is the fourth final and I don't know if it'll be the most important. It will be a very important match in a moment that the team feels well and reached certainties different with respect to two and a half years ago. We're coming from a great run that we want to extend and continue doing something special."

On the risk of finding an angrier Juventus than on December 7: "I thought about this. Juve's approach will probably be different. If I go back and watch the game at the Olimpico, Juve approached it very well. I take the three points from the match and I know that we're facing a team who has only lost us against us and that's Juventus. They're used to winning and grew from the loss in Roma. Third place in the standings is deserved. The players believed in the work and are working well with the staff. Results were not coming at first, but the presentations were there from the first day."
