After suffering two defeats in their past two matches, Simone Inzaghi spoke about his Lazio team as the head into tomorrow's match against Parma.
"We should have done better in the past two matches, we started well but then fell apart in the second half. We analyzed the defeats with lucidity and now we must think about getting back on track. These two matches taught us that we cannot allow ourselves to not be intense, because then we lost quality."
"At Ferrara, Parolo and Caicedo played and they're two starters. Patric was substituted because he already had a yellow and risked expulsion. At Cluj, Berisha proved to be an important player, like Bastos and Jony who played well. I have great confidence in them."
"There's disappointment for these two defeats but also a lot of confidence, we lived similar moments last season. It's important to analyze the errors we committed and be able to start again. We need to stay humble and maintain balance. After the first two matches, we raised the bar, it will take hunger and determination to interpret the next matches the best way we can. We'll bring away the best things we've done until now and continue on that. Tomorrow we'll take on a great team guided by a manager that's doing very well. It'll take meanness to win."
On the possible formation: "The formations can change like what happened after we went down at Cluj, but the interpretation always counts. We cannot look behind ourselves, but always to the future and in this moment, that's Parma. I will see the players who were busy in Romania and evaluate, looking to pick the best 11 possible. Those who remained at Formello will be on the pitch."
