After that 2-3 loss on May 20 that projected the Nerazzurri to the Champions League and relegated the biancocelesti to the Europa League, Lazio and Inter are ready to face off in Matchday 10 of the Serie A TIM. Below, are the words of Simone Inzaghi on the eve of the challenge.

"We have not forgotten the match at the end of last year; Inter is a team built to win the Scudetto but we can play them on equal terms. Luciano Spalletti is a good experienced coach - in the last meeting with the Nerazzurri, we suffered a lot on set pieces and made some mistakes which cost us the match. They are a physical team - Mauro Icardi will be watched: every great team has its own reference in attack."

"We're back from an excellent match in the UEFA Europa League - Olympique de Marseille wanted to win, but we had a great performance away from home. It's a victory that increases our self-esteem. Thursday we have spent a lot of energy: Lucas Leiva will be unavailable, whilst the conditions of Ciro Immobile and Felipe Caicedo were evaluated. In addition, Milan Badelj was also tested. Something will change in the line-up, but the substitutes will be up to it. We will train today and tomorrow morning, even Valon Berisha is to be evaluated. It is physiological that I will change something but for us, the challenge of last Thursday was fundamental for our European journey - most of the regular starters had to play. The right flank? Patric and Adam Marusic are doing well, Martin Caceres has spent a lot of energy on Thursday. I will evaluate the situation with utmost tranquility."

"Tomorrow, Stefan de Vrij, Keita Balde, and Antonio Candreva will return to the Stadio Olimpico. I will meet them with pleasure, they are players who gave me so much."

"The goal is to reach a top four spot in the Serie A TIM; last year we should have had a few more points before playing the last two Matchdays."
