Lazio hopes to enjoy some winning continuity after their Coppa Italia victory over Milan this week, which brought them to the final match against Atalanta on May 15th. Manager Simone Inzaghi spoke to the press leading up to the team's league match against Sampdoria.
"After an important success, you sometimes slow down a little, but this must not happen. I already spoke with the players about it, like I did after the win against Inter. We look to the future, to Sampdoria. We're talking about a team that is well-trained, with great individuals, tomorrow I'll choose the best formation because we last played just three days ago. We have the obligation to know that, for us, there are 6 matches left. All of them are finals. We expect matches that certainly won't be simple, but we need to confront them in the best of ways. We want Europa League also through the league."
On the Coppa Italia final: "It will be the third final in three years, we've reached a great goal. Against Chievo we made the mistake of playing in 10."
Regarding absences for the Sampdoria match: "Durmisi and Radu won't be called-up. We want to play a great match even without them. Wallace is returning to good levels, he's training and could have a chance. Caicedo is feeling well and has responded well."
On Immobile: "We need to watch his play for other than goals. He's played a lot, I need to evaluate him. He worked a lot at San Siro, like Correa."
