Lazio travel to Udinese this weekend, where they will look to close out a successful period before the national team break. Lazio's coach, Simone Inzaghi spoke at a press conference today: "Tomorrow will surely be a difficult match, but we have practiced well and we want our second consecutive victory. The absence of Biglia weighs a lot on us: in his role, he is among the best in Europe. Luckily we already have shown we can do well even without him. We haven't yet spoken about making a move on the transfer market to find a replacement. I'm satisfied about how this season is progressing, because our schedule wasn't one of the easiest ones. We have the points that we deserve, but now we have to win two games consecutively."
On the skepticism about Lazio: "It's normal, I've been here since I was 16/17. I understand the difference between constructive criticism and outright criticism that we've received. Some of these don't bother me, while others could help us grow. The attackers? If Keita is fit, he could play 90 minutes at the highest level, I counted on him with my eyes closed last year. He is always working harder. I'm also happy about how the others, Kishna and Luis Alberto, are growing. We have worked hard and we can still grow. The people expect a lot from us."
Finally he spoke about his formation: "We have many solutions, the 4-3-3 could be one of them. We could even play in a 4-4-2 or with a 5-man defense. The exclusion of Cataldi? He's working very well and can carve out a very important role for himself. In that role now, we have even tried Parolo. Patric can play in a 3-man defense without any problems: I have yet to decide."
