After Lazio's 2-1 win away to Cagliari, coach Simone Inzaghi spoke about the result, with an eye towards the final of the Coppa Italia. With the club's goals within their grasp, Inzaghi spoke about the season up until now as well as the upcoming final: "I got the response I was looking for. The boys played a great game that we should have put away in the first half with a slightly bigger lead. I complimented everyone becuase it was a joy to watch them play. Regrets? Everyone has some. We are one point from Roma and Milan, we suffered injuries, in several matches there were events that failed to turn out in our favor but we are currently heading to Europe and a final."
"Caicedo, Immobile, and Correa? Ahead of Atalanta everyone is on equal ground but I think that only two will play. We will see in the coming days, I will try to make the most fair decision. Whoever will come on as a substitute will be a difference maker. My objective is to come to Wednesday morning with all the players available, someting that has been infrequent this year. We are evaluating Milinkovic; yesterday he took part in training but the reactions were not the absolute best. Badelj is doing well, Leiva is doing things well also. So everyone must recover to make the best choices Wednesday."
