Simone Inzaghi recently recovered from COVID and is back on the sidelines for the key match against Milan on Monday. The Lazio manager discussed what he went through in the pre match press conference:"I'm very happy to be back, it wasn't an easy period, having my wife and kids positive was not a good experience. Luckily it passed, i congratulate the players and staff, they were great at winning key games"
Inzaghi described the importance of tomorrow's match:"It's match that is in or out, we struggled in first half of season, but this team won 12 out of the last 16, they'd had an extraordinary journey, we lost points in first half because of the Champions League. We must close in the best way possible, tomorrow is fundamental, we must continue to believe and make up ground"
