There continues to be movement in Lazio’s transfer market. Filip Djordjevic is close to leaving Rome as he has found an agreement with Lyon. The French club was close to acquiring the player in the past weeks, and it would be a welcome destination for the striker. The player would sign a three year contract, and now an agreement between the two clubs must be reached. Lazio’s request has been lowered to 8 million for the player, and the French club will soon give a definitive response after some reflection.
Lyon’s first offer was of 5 million, but that could rise in an attempt to close the deal. The player himself has made clear that Lyon is the only team he desires as he has even rejected offers from other clubs such as Crotone. In the case of Djordjevic’s departure, Anwar El Ghazi could be his replacement. Lazio’s intention would be to purchase the player on loan with an obligation to buy set at 9 million. However, Lille has recently shown interest the Lazio and Roma target. The Ajax player could find himself in France or Italy as Lazio await to hear from Lyon with regards to Djordjevic.
