With Lazio set to take on Apollon in the Europa League, the biancoceleste sporting director Igli Tare spoke with Sky Sport. Tare commented on the evolution of his squad from last year: "We had a number of injuries to key players last year, this year we set out on the market to avoid this situation. This year, we announced from the start that we will be protagonists and we will not hide. Even though the matches with Napoli and Juve went poorly, in the last few weaks we have spoken a lot and I am convinced that we will have a great season."
The question was asked about extensions to two important players: "Milinkovic-Savic and Immobile's extensions will be done a matter of days." Tare also spoke on some of the new arrivals: "Correa will be a useful player, he can go past his man easily: he has the same qualities as Felipe Anderson and is even more physical; he must learn better how to attack space. Caicedo? His role is a difficult one, but he has always given his best: he will find his footing soon and he will be important for us."
