Milan and Lazio continue to negotiate for a transfer fee for Lucas Biglia, but the player is now headed to the training retreat with his Lazio teammates. Biglia is scheduled to depart on a flight for Venice on Wednesday evening. As for the distance that remains between the two clubs working on a deal to move Biglia to the rossoneri, Milan has increased their offer by one million to a total proposal of €17m with bonuses. Lazio's asking has been lowered from €25m to €20m (a €17m fee plus €3m bonuses). Lazio appears to be remaining firm on the request and wants to let a player of Biglia importance not leave without significant recompense. Milan, as it stands, will have to continue to work to land Biglia for the midfield.
