The negotiation between Lazio and Marcelo Bielsa continues. Today could be decisive in the soap opera to bring el Loco to the Italian club, Lazio's general secretary Armando Calveri has in fact postponed his return to Rome to try to close the deal- they are working on the final details concerning the length of the contract as well as the payment terms.
As reported by Manuele Baiocchini, Bielsa's demand on signing just a one year deal has been granted but there could be an option year inserted. Lazio will also try resolve the issues tied to how taxes are paid on the wages, as well as fact that Bielsa prefers to be paid in US dollars- there are also some other benefits being discussed.
Lazio is becoming more optimistic the deal will be reached, also because of the fact that these final details are being discussed is an encouraging sign.
