From the Wyscout Forum 2019 currently taking place in Amsterdam, Valentino Lazaro's agent Maximilian Hagmayr discussed his client's settlement period at Inter: "It is normal that the player has changed under Conte. He needed time to learn the methods of a new league and coach. He suffered some injuries, that's why he didn't play much before, now he will definitely get more minutes", the agent said to Sky Sport.
"Inter were keen on Lazaro before hiring Conte, we met with Inter sporting director Ausilio last February and they had been watching him for six months at the time" - Hagmayr continued - "The meeting with Conte was important, he explained his playstyle to us and what he wanted from Lazaro. That meeting was crucial in his choice to sign for Inter". The agent was then asked if there's the possibility that other clients of his sign for Italian clubs: "Muldur is already at Sassuolo, whereas Dragovic from Bayer Leverkusen would like to come to Serie A, since he knows that Lazaro is feeling well there. Haaland to Italy? It's not one of my clients, but I think it's difficult that it will happen. His father played in the Premier League, so he might go to England".
