Lautaro Martinez picks Inter: the figures of the deal with Racing Avellaneda

Inter is looking to the future and have made significant progress in their pursuit of one of the emerging talents in South America. The nerazzurri are expected to acquire Lautaro Martinez next June, sporting director Piero Ausilio’s trip to South America was successful since the striker born in ’97 has decided to join Spalletti’s squad. Martinez is expected to sign a contract through 2023 with his current club Racing Avellaneda receiving 20.2 million euro including taxes, there’s a verbal agreement on the figure which exceeds the player’s release clause. The official announcement is expected to come later on after the contracts and documents have been deposited. In the meantime, Inter is ready to welcome Martinez, the work from director Ausilio and vice president Zanetti has paid off.
