As the Bundesliga was the first major European league to restart their season amid the coronavirus pandemic, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was following along by watching his home country's latest matches.

There was no hugging during celebrations, but the biggest difference from normal play was that there were no fans in the stadiums. Once the Premier League is able to start again, the stadiums will also be empty. Klopp's Reds are close to clinching the league title, and he spoke on his team's return to the pitch without fans.

"It will be like this for some months, but this doesn't mean that football won't stay the marvelous sport that it is. Everyone started to play without fans surrounding them and we love football not for the atmosphere that there is at the stadium."
