"Good luck my Fenerbache": so Min-jae Kim gave the good wishes to the Gialloblù team for the next friendly against Dynamo Kiev. The South Korean defender did so by retweeting the Turkish starting line-up where he is not present. A clear farewell signal with Napoli waiting for him in Italy: today the last details have been defined and Kim is getting closer and closer to being a blue player.
Napoli-Kim, the negotiation
Napoli has reached an agreement with the player on the basis of a three-year contract with no option to renew. In the coming days the club will pay the termination clause that has not turned out to be different for different teams.
The 25-year-old will arrive in Naples after being very close to Rennes and his former coach Genesio. The French cllub were among the competitors for the defender and seemed to be able to tick it off. So much so that the Napoli management had flown to Paris to try to convince Diallo. But the acceleration of the last few days with the blitz in Istanbul was decisive to bring Kim to Naples.
Kim will therefore replace Koulibaly. The former Napoli defender is a new Chelsea player. "Thank you, Naples and Neapolitans, for all the love we have given ourselves. I am proud to have honored you with all my heart and I will continue, indefinitely, to carry you in my heart and to nourish for you one of the most important feelings for me: respect". The Senegalese had greeted "his" Naples with these words, significant of the important weight that Kim will have on his new experience in Italy.
