Andrea Agnelli was the first one to embrace his players right after the final to thank them for the effort they put in at the Millennium Stadium. He spoke to Premium Sport: "It was a difficult night. There is pride and knowledge that we reached the highest level. There is a belief that we can return to the field to be even more convincing. In all of us, there is the will to improve and to continue to grow."
Agnelli refused to comment on the match and remained positive to focus on Juventus' next season: "It is not my job to comment on the match, but i can judge this year. This season made us proud and this final must provide a wickedness. This is the motivation for next season. To all who supported me, I am proud of each one of them and from here we must start again. Our team is a group, we must find some serenity after winning six scudetti in a row, three Coppa Italia and two Champions League finals. I will keep working with Paratici, Marotta, Nedved and Allegri to camly analyze our season."
