Juventus now are moving ever closer to Cristiano Ronaldo, there have been signs of optimism in the deal. On Friday morning, Juventus directors Marotta and Paratici have been in direct contact with Jorge Mendes, who has been looking to set a course with Real Madrid for completion of the transfer to the bianconeri, including the transfer fee. Between Mendes and Real Madrid, a €100 million fee (€120m including taxes) was agreed to during the season as the price for the player. At the moment, Real Madrid seem to realize that Ronaldo's wishes are to leave the club, and they do not intend to block him. Juventus are waiting for the relationship between Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo to end before starting the very long process of hammering out the terms of the contract with the Portuguese striker.
The Juventus directors have not planned yet any trip to Madrid, instead they remain in Milan and will let Mendes work to finalize the details. Florentino Perez, at the moment, has not altered the conditions of the agreement made with Mendes. But the perpetual back-and-forth wavering from the Real Madrid number one have Juventus still watching with some caution. However, it seems at the moment that the deal for CR7 to Juventus can proceed without obstacle, and the bianconeri are set to move ahead.
