Milan is returning to the idea of Merih Demiral, Juventus defender who was previously sought by the rossoneri. There are set to be new meetings between the sides about the 1998-born Demiral, Milan are set to offer €35m if Juventus are ready to sell, aware of the fact that Sassuolo will obtain a portion of the sale of Demiarl in the first two years: it will depend if the economic offer is sufficient.
There could be a domino effect of several defenders moving clubs: if Milan and Juventus reach a deal, then Rugani would be retained by the bianconeri, preventing him from departing for Roma. Instead, the capital club are after Lovern, while on the Rugani front Roma will be forced to act quickly, knowing that Demiral's sale to Milan would prevent Rugani from leaving.
