Bonucci and Caldara can be considered the present and future of Juventus. On the one side you have the defender from Frosinone who has just returned to the squad after being excluded as a result of an argument with Allegri. On the other side, the young defender has been proving to be a stellar signing. Here is what Beppe Marotta had to say to TuttoSport:
“How is Leonardo? He’s the same old Bonucci. The case is closed, we played a match and he was one of the protagonists. A football team is a community with rules that have to be respected. Everything has been cleared up just like it would in a family. The role of a club is to support the coach and intervene whenever necessary. We act with the intentions of a family. All of this is part of football, however the situation was over exaggerated.”
Meanwhile Caldara, who will be a Juventus player starting in 2018, has been continuing to impress: “We are happy and proud of this deal we made. He played a great match as a youngster in a great team. We have to give credit to him and Atalanta for the work done.”.
