With the semifinals of the Champions League approaching, Juventus is again in the last four of the continent. With a European title now within sight, Claudio Marchisio was interviewed by Sky Sport 24 about the state of the club in the context of Europe and Italy. Marchisio will have an important role to play for the club considering Khedira will miss out on the first leg in Monaco, and gave his thoughts about the road ahead for the club: "Having returned to winning we have reaffirmed its importance and it's given us awareness of our abilities in the context of Italy and also in Europe. Three years out from the final against Barcelona, with respect to performances, our opponents have a different outlook when they face Juventus. Three years ago we played in that final, the next year we were eliminated by Bayern Munich who is a great team and with a good showing from our side, now we've essentially gotten over the hill. With respect to the other teams left in the Champions League our strong point is our cohesiveness, this year some great players have joined us, they have fit in right away in a spot where they can show what they're really worth. We changed our set-up this year too since when Allegri came in. It's a good thing for the team, who had the will and the ability to change and it's benefitted all of us."
