The sporting relationship between Juventus and Lichtsteiner will continue until 2018. The Swiss defender has renewed his contract despite all the rumours that suggested his time in Turin were coming to an end. Here is the official statement from the Juventus website:
“Juventus and Stephan Lichtsteiner remain together!
The Swiss winger has signed the renewal of his contract until June 30th, 2018. His adventure in a black and white jersey thus continues after it began five and a half years ago.”
