Juventus-Genoa: the go-ahead given for Sturaro, stand-by for Romero

16:00 - The meeting between Paratici and Preziosi has ended. The first big news is the go-ahead for Sturaro. The situation for his return to Genoa seems close to being solved. Romero is instead on standby - for the defender, further updates will follow.

14:45 - Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici and Genoa president Enrico Preziosi are meeting in Milan to discuss potential transfers between the two clubs. The first priority is to come to an agreement on Italian 25-year-old midfielder Stefano Sturaro, with the goal to loan the player to the Rossoblù with an option to buy. Secondly, the Bianconeri are interested in young 20-year-old Genoa defender Cristian Romero and would like to initiate discussions about the player now, for a potential summer transfer.
