After months of rumors and speculation, Emre Can was finally officially revealed as a Juventus player today. At his introductory press conference he began by greeting everyone in Italian, saying "Buon Giorno," and then continued in English. He was all smiles and had this to say: "My first impression? I already knew this club and I know it's really big. Today was my first day and it went very well. I am very happy to be here, I had conversations with Khedira who told me this is an exceptional club and I am really very happy to be here. I had a Juventus influence, my coach from 6-7 years old was a Juventus fan and he would tell me that I would become a Juventus player. Then I chose the project, the history, the desire to win that is like mine."
Inevitably, Can was asked about the rumors surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's potential move to Juve: "For anyone it would be huge to play alongside a great like Cristiano Ronaldo. Honestly, I don't know if they've contacted him, but if he arrived I would be very, very happy. For now, though, I am focused on my own adventure."
