In between winning the Serie A and preparing for the Coppa Italia final, Juventus are moving on the mercato. Their first signing is Matheus Pereira, a talent from Corinthians born in 1998. Last Saturday the deal was closed, the player arrived in Italy and met the Juventus board. It will be a 5 year deal with the player receiving 250,000 per season.
The player is non-eu however, and will not directly sign for Juventus but for another Italian club instead, which he will be loaned out to for a year. The clubs who are being considered are Empoli and Sassuolo, as they are on good terms with Juventus. Pereira is a Juventus player starting Saturday, now there’s a need to understand his immediate future.
