Juventus captain Gigi Buffon could be set to say goodbye to Juventus after 17 season with the Bianconeri and 22 seasons after his debut in 1995 with Parma. The press conference was introduced by Juventus president Agnelli: "Gigi has been with us all the way on this long rollercoaster ride of a
journey, with its lows and then the return to Paradise. We will be
forever grateful for his loyalty. What we now know is that Szczesny will be defending our goal next season. Gigi has many offers both on and off the pitch. Whatever his decision will be, I want to thank him. Enjoy the Stadium on Saturday".
Agnelli's words were followed by Buffon announcement: "On Saturday I will play my last game with Juventus, winning two trophies is the best way to end my adventure with Juventus. My idea until 15 days ago was to retire, but then I received many offers for interesting challenges both on and off the pitch. I received the most important offer off the pitch by president Agnelli himself. Next week I will make a final decision. Keep playing in Italy, maybe at Parma or Genoa? That's not an option at all".
