Juventus, Bierhoff: "Höwedes is a complete defender. Emre Can could play for Juve next season"

Former Milan striker Oliver Bierhoff discussed new Juve's German defender Benedikt Höwedes and two other fellow countrymen who could join him next season, Goretzka and Emre Can. "I spoke to Benedikt about coming to Italy - says Bierhoff in an interview with Tuttosport - I thought that Juve could have been the perfect club for him, they are strong and have a winning mentality. He is a complete defender, he's strong, good in the air and with tackles, he is also good on the ball. He reminds me a bit of Nesta, even though the Italian was more technically skilled. Goretzka and Emre Can are two important players who can be bought for free at the end of the season, they will certainly have many options to choose from. They could do well in Serie A and I think they would come to Italy only for Juventus or maybe Inter, if the nerazzurri return to be a top team. There's a very small chance to see Goretzka in Italy, maybe less than 20%, while Emre Can's chances are higher, I'd say 60-80%"
