Rincon first and now Witsel? Juventus is trying to bring in the Belgian to add even more strength to Massimiliano Allegri's midfield. The Belgian had been just a step away from joining Juventus in the summer and the transfer broke down in the very last minutes. Axel Witsel is once again in style and Juventus is trying to bring him in, in January. In these hours however the bianconeri are not sure that the player will end up joining. Aside from the Zenit issue there is also competition in the form of Shanghai SIPG managed by Villas-Boas, who also worked with Witsel in Russia. The Chinese club has offered 18 million plus 2 in bonuses for years, 72 million total: an offer which is very much tempting the player who will make his choice very soon.
