Following Juventus' elimination in the Champions League, the club's executive director Maurizio Arrivabene gave an interview to Corriere dello Sport to assess the team's season:"The goal in the Champions League was to reach the round of sixteen and it was reached. The elimination was painful, but it doesn't change our plans for the future. We have a clear three year plan to focus on. The objective is to make the financial aspect coexist with the sporting one"
Arrivabene was asked about Ronaldo's abrupt departure at the end of the transfer window:"When we saw him on the pitch during the first days of the retreat, he was motivated and focused, I thought he would stay, he later expressed a different opinion and we all know how it went"
Arrivabene addressed Dybala's future:"Last fall we had reached an agreement on extension. Then when the club made a capital injection, some new evaluations were necessary which can be summed up with four parameters: the technical aspect, the number of games played, the length of the contract and the financial value given to individual player. Nothing has been decided, we'll see how Dybala will present himself"
