After the win at San Siro against Inter and Napoli’s loss to Fiorentina, Juventus find themselves closer to clinching their seventh scudetto in a row with the Coppa Italia final against Milan also looming. Manager Massimiliano Allegri discussed his team’s status going into the game against Bologna in the pre match press conference:”We must win so we can prepare in the best way possible the Coppa Italia. The league is still wide open because Napoli is having a great season. Tomorrow we can’t play with arrogance. Bologna will come to Turin to play a great match. This week we’ve seen a lot of comedy, but the images clarify everything”
Allegri then addressed the status of some of his key players:”Dybala and Higuain will play, they have to score the scudetto goals. Mandzukic won’t recupate for tomorrow, we hope he will for the Coppa Italia. De Sciglio and Sturaro are out. Pjanic is disqualified, the rest are available”
Allegri also addressed the continuous speculation on his future while also complimenting Roma:”I have a bond with Juventus and I’m happy at Juventus. What I can say at this moment is that we must win the scudetto and the Coppa Italia. We must congratulate Roma for what they did in the Champions League”
