Juventus, Allegri: “We chose Berardi, I’m disappointed at how things played out. Lichtsteiner? He has to stay”

The signing of Pjanic is official and Dani Alves almost is as well. After these two super signings Massimilano Allegri’s priority is to understand the fate of his prized possessions, Pogba and Morata. Also, despite the arrival of Dani Alves, Allegri hopes to retain Lichtsteiner:

Pogba? Throughout the year everyone comes in late to training at least once. The only one that’s never late is Lichtsteiner, but he’s Swiss. Speaking of Stephan he’s very important to me and has to stay. Berardi? We had chosen him and I’m very upset but he made a different choice and we respected it. I will surely train Berardi in the future”. Bonucci, Barzagli and Chiellini? They’re worth more than Messi and Ronaldo: “Lionel and Cristiano are world class but our BBC is just as worthy as Messi and Buffon’s saves are just as worthy as Messi’s goals. Regardless of the critiques of our injuries Juve runs more than any other team”.

Scudetto? It will be the usual teams fighting for it: “This year we’ll try to kick off the tournament well from the beginning, unlike last year, this is why I changed program. Our rivals will still be Roma, Napoli and Inter with a big question mark. Juve has the best youngsters in Europe, Dybala did well but can still grow a lot”. Allegri also spoke about his future: “I’d like to remain at Juve for a long time still, then I’m fixated with an experience abroad and closing with the national team, but not when I’m too old because I don’t want to become an idiot whilst on the bench”.
