Juventus, Allegri: "It was important to win today. Dybala angry about being substituted?..."

After Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek had scored the first goal of the match before half-time, Juventus came back to defeat Milan by a score of 2-1, thanks to goals from Paulo Dybala and Moise Kean. "It was important to win today, Juventus vs Milan is always a challenging but exciting match," stated Massimiliano Allegri to kick-off his post-match presser to Sky Sport.

The Bianconeri are set to win the 2018/19 Scudetto by the next round of Serie A TIM at the latest; for the Scudetto, just three points are lacking (unless Napoli loses against Genoa tomorrow). "We are just missing either a win or a draw in the event that Napoli manages to win tomorrow. I had a good answer to solve the problems today. In the first half, we did not do well, but in the second half, we were much better, with beautiful in-game tactics and being more organized in the field."

He then spoke about Moise Kean, who is on a terrific run of form: "Is it hard to keep Kean out of the starting eleven? He's good at scoring and is a young man who is doing well. I hope he grows even more. Today he also had a good celebration. Altogether, in January, we decided to keep him. Besides Mandzukic, he is the other center forward in this team. But being and second or third choice helped him grow technically and improve. Then obviously training and playing in the Champions League I think helped for mental improvement."

Lastly, he spoke on Paulo Dybala, who scored but then was taken off today: "Dybala annoyed by the change? It is right that he is angry because everyone cares about playing, he came from a time when he didn't play and he practiced less because of an injury to his calf. The goal gave him confidence but in a great team it is so, they are all there ready to steal your place. I then have to try to field the best players."
