After keeping their unbeaten streak alive against Empoli, Juventus prepare to face Cagliari in Serie A matchday 11 on Saturday, before hosting Manchester United at the Allianz Stadium. Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri adressed the upcoming match and the Scudetto race in the pre-match press conference: "Tomorrow we have to win. Cagliari are a difficult opponent and they will give their all against us. They are a quick team, with Pavoletti upfront that is very strong on headers from set pieces. We have to keep a clean sheet: If you concede more than 30 goals then you won't be winning the title. We have to win and prepare ourselves for the match on Wednesday. We can't afford to drop any points, the team behind us, Inter and Napoli, are going strong so we can't slow down".
The coach also gave some hints on the starting line-up: "Chiellini and Bernardeschi are both out for tomorrwo, while Khedira and Mandzukic are back to training with the group. The German could play tomorrow, I have to choose between him, Bentancur and Cuadrado to play alongside Matuidi and Pjanic. Upfront Ronaldo will be there and one between Douglas Costa, Dybala and Mandzukic will play with him, whilst in goal there will be Szczesny, although Perin is doing well and will get some playing time soon".
Finally, Allegri discussed the difference in the approach between Serie A and Champions League and gave his thoughts on the favourite for the European competition: "You have to focus more in Serie Abecause in the Champions League focusing happens automatically as there are not as many matches and they are all tough. Therefore we must always show respect and concentration. Are we the favourite to win the Champions League? Barcelona are the favourite, but we are in the top four".
