Italy, Ventura lands in Bari: manager doesn’t appear willing to resign

The day after Italy’s devastating elimination from the World Cup Gian Piero Ventura returned to his home town Bari. The Azzurri’s manager avoided all the media gathered at the airport and exited through a back door. Ventura is pondering his future and it does not appear he wants to resign, however tomorrow the Italian federation is expected to formally fire him. In the meantime Ventura has returned home to Bari.
